Starshade is a plant with a star-like pattern found in the Vineyard of Eyes. It was believed to be the cure for the Curse of the Warmbloods, as Dr. Neveeve shows in her book of medicine. But after it is destroyed by cutters, Temp realizes that the starshade is not the cure.
