Nike is a flier who first appeared in Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods. She is the princess of the fliers, being Queen Athena's daughter. 

Appearance[]

Nike is a giant bat with black and white stripes.

Personality[]

When Nike injures her claw saving Gregor and Lapblood from the carnivores plants, Gregor feels guilty because she was "such a good bat."

Biography[]

Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods[]

In Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods, she plays as a substitute for Ares as Gregor's flier. She is later injured when the group is attacked by plants in the jungle, but refuses to take any pain medications, believing they will muddy her thoughts.

It is Nike who first suggests that the starshade isn't the cure.

  • Echolocation: Like the vast majority of the creatures in the Underland, she can locate objects by determining the time for an echo to return and the direction from which it returns.
  • Flight: As a flier, she has the ability to soar and flutter through the air over great distances.
